Well, it's undeniable now. I'm old.

I just had my 30th birthday party in Plaza Serrano. Emma, Gabriela, Javier, Brad, and Laura joined me last night in a bid to enjoy the last few hours of my youth. Unfortunately, I managed to tear my calf muscle during Muay Thai a coupla days ago, so I spent the entire night limping around like bitter floridean retiree. Incredibly apt, if annoying.
The party was pretty good. It would have been a lot better if I hadn't been so disabled, but what are you going to do? Instead of dancing and running around like idiots, we spent most of the night sitting in a few bars chatting and drinking beer, vodka, whiskey, and anything else we could get our hands on. It ended at a very civil 6am, when Gabriela, Emma and I shared a taxi back to Recoleta. There were quite a few drunken pictures taken during that cab ride. Maybe I'll post them sometime...

Well, I am officially living in Buenos Aires now. I'm renting my own place, taking spanish lessons, and I have eaten more than one steak. I'm not quite settled enough to give you my first impressions yet, but they will be posted soon... I promise.
In the meantime, you'll just have to sate your voyeuristic appetites with this not-so-meaty photo album.
